ACID METAL — New 2027 Snowscoot Slalom / Carving Board Sample Now Available at TOOLATE SPORTS

Today we would like to introduce a new carving and slalom style Snowscoot board for the 2027 season:
ACID METAL
ACID METAL is a Snowscoot board set designed for riders who want to enjoy deep carving turns on groomed slopes.
Snowscoot riding is not only about going straight or riding powder. Just like snowboarding and skiing, one single turn can be very deep.
Carving with strong edge angle.
Loading the board flex through the turn.
Creating a deep slalom line with two separate boards and a handlebar.
That is the unique fun of Snowscoot riding, and ACID METAL is made for riders who want to go deeper into that feeling.
The front board has a long effective edge and a very narrow carving shape.
It is even slightly narrower than the front fork plate, which may make it one of the narrowest carving shapes ever made for Snowscoot boards.
This narrow shape allows the rider to get a deep edge angle with less power.
The nose shape is also very unique.
It has a low rocker and sharp radius at the tip, allowing the edge to work very far toward the front of the board while reducing resistance during carving turns.
Of course, it can still be used in light powder or mixed snow conditions, but this is not a soft all-round powder board.
When the snow becomes hard and bumpy, this shape will require skill and control.
That is why we call it a true carving board.
The rear board also has a low tail shape.
Together with the front board, the two boards create one large turning radius when the rider leans the machine without over-steering the handlebar.
The front and rear boards are not exactly the same length, but visually they feel very balanced as a set.
The matte silver finish of the sample looks amazing.
The production version is expected to have a simple logo design, but even without graphics, this board already has a very sharp and serious look.
It feels almost like a slalom race snowboard made for Snowscoot.
The core is also very impressive.
ACID METAL uses an 11 mm thick core, which is extremely thick compared with many Snowscoot boards from the past.
Does that mean it is too stiff?
Not really.
Because of the narrow carving shape, skilled riders can still flex the board and control the turn.
The overall flex feels medium to slightly hard, with a powerful response from the thick core.
ACID METAL is also designed with wide mounting compatibility.
Supported mounting pitches include:
- 385 mm normal pitch
- 265 mm AR short pitch
- 120 mm T3 pitch
- 385 mm G-model wide pitch
- 233 mm DOC / INSANE short pitch
- 230 mm Snowmoto style pitch
This means it can be mounted on many different Snowscoot frames and snow bike style setups.
ACID METAL will be sold as a limited board set for the 2027 season.
At TOOLATE SPORTS in Japan, we are planning to start in-store pre-orders around the Obon holiday period this summer.
Online ordering will follow after that, and the first arrival is currently scheduled around October 2026.
The winter season is still some time away, but the sample board is already available at our shop in Toyama, Japan.
