AR ver.4.2 × JYKK GT-1 Medium An Ultra-Light 8 kg Full Custom Snowscoot
Share
Lightweight performance is not only about the number on the scale.
It is about how quickly the machine responds, how naturally it changes direction and how closely the rider can feel the snow beneath the boards.
Built around the latest AR ver.4.2 frame and fork kit, this full custom Snowscoot combines the latest-generation JYKK GT-1 Medium boards, carefully selected lightweight components and a low-center-of-gravity setup.
The complete machine weighs approximately 8 kg.
Despite its exceptionally low weight, it remains calm, stable and composed on the snow.
Lightness and stability are often opposing qualities.
This machine brings them together.
A 265 mm Short-Pitch Setup Only Possible with AR
The JYKK GT-1 Medium boards are mounted using a compact 265 mm pitch.
This mounting position is one of the defining features of the AR ver.4.2 platform. The latest GT-1 board system cannot be installed at this short pitch on a conventional production Snowscoot frame.
By placing the board mounts closer together, the center section of the GT-1 boards is able to flex more naturally.
The result is faster turn initiation, more precise response and a clearer connection between the rider’s input and the snow surface.
Push hard and the boards flex progressively beneath you.
Relax your body and the machine begins to run naturally.
Rather than forcing the rider to react quickly, the setup brings the machine closer to the rider’s own sense of balance and movement.
The GT-1 Medium flex is particularly well suited to riders weighing approximately 50–70 kg, depending on experience, riding style and snow conditions.

Turning Low Weight into Refined Control
Every component was selected to preserve the distinctive handling of the AR ver.4.2 frame.
The cockpit uses a lightweight Trinity 8.8-inch aluminum Trash Bar, combined with a Flybikes top-load stem for secure clamping and a comfortable riding position.
This taller cockpit is also suitable for riders around 170 cm and above.
At the base of the machine, low-profile non-through bushings keep the chassis close to the snow. A fat-type EVA foam deck reduces unnecessary weight while allowing the rider to feel the movement of the boards through the feet.
The machine changes direction easily, but it does not feel nervous.
At lower speeds, it remains manageable and intuitive.
As the speed increases, the stability and precision of the AR frame become more noticeable.
It has the low and direct feeling of a carefully tuned sports car: responsive when asked, composed when left to run.
A Closer Connection to the Snow
JYKK lock-on mushroom grips provide a secure and comfortable hold, even when wearing winter gloves.
A stable foot strap keeps the rider connected to the machine, while the EVA deck transmits subtle changes in board flex and snow texture.
This allows the rider to control carving, skidded turns and speed with small, precise movements.
The machine does not simply respond to the rider.
It helps reveal what the rider is doing.
This is the character created by the combination of the AR ver.4.2 frame and JYKK GT-1 Medium boards.
A serious custom build with an unusually direct connection between body, machine and snow.

Eight kilograms is only a specification.
What matters is how little stands between the rider and the next turn.
