DEELUXE FOOTLOOSE 2 Is Back: Free Ankles, Steady Feet
They are back! This year's delivery of DEELUXE FOOTLOOSE 2 has arrived at TOOLATE SPORTS in Toyama, Japan.
These boots look tough, but the feel is surprisingly soft and flexible around the ankles. Originally developed for powsurfing and binding-free riding, they are also a great match for snowskating and yukiita. You can use them for snowboarding with bindings, too; check the fit with your particular binding model and size.
Freedom at the ankles, support under your feet
This balance is why we recommend the FOOTLOOSE for Snowscoot. You can stand naturally upright without being pushed into a strong forward lean, then use your knees and ankles to move with the scoot.
DEELUXE's COSMIC FLEX construction allows generous ankle movement. The FOOTLOOSE 2 also has a dedicated liner designed to hold the foot while preserving that freedom.
If you like to move your ankles freely but still want a more supported feel at speed and when landing jumps, this is a boot we would love you to try. Even on everyday runs, the way your boots fit and connect to the deck can make a big difference.
Grip, board feel and a warm liner
The SKATE FLEX sole emphasizes grip and feel underfoot. That connection to the deck is a big part of what makes this boot work so well on a Snowscoot.
Inside, the soft neoprene SURF FLEX INNER takes inspiration from surf boots. It gives you a close, comfortable fit and warmth for days on snow. Traditional laces let you adjust the fit to suit your feet.
Solid construction, mobile ankles and a grippy sole: the FOOTLOOSE 2 remains one of our favorite boot choices for Snowscoot riding.
