TORINITY 2 Prototype – A New Short & Fat Snowscoot Board Concept
Share

A surprise new prototype has arrived at TOOLATE SPORTS.
We now have a sample of the upcoming TORINITY 2 board set from TORINITY SNOWSCOOT on display at our new-model exhibition.
The concept is simple:
SHORT & FAT.
Short overall length, but with almost powder-board-level width.

The idea is to create a board that can float in powder, stay compact enough for barspins and freestyle tricks, carve aggressively on groomed snow, and provide a wide, stable platform for landings.
There have been very few truly short and wide board designs in the Snowscoot world, so this prototype could open up some interesting new possibilities.
Multiple Mounting Options
The current prototype has mounting holes for several different Snowscoot and snowbike frame standards, including:
- Standard 395mm pitch
- AR short pitch
- INSANE 233mm pitch
- T3 120mm pitch
- Snowmoto mounting pattern
- STYLE-G 385mm pitch
- Other wide mounting positions
This is still a prototype, so the final production specifications may change.

Wide Front, Short Tail
The rear board has a relatively wide tail with a strong sidecut.
The front board is approximately 310mm wide, with a long rocker nose, while the overall board length remains surprisingly compact.
This combination could make it especially interesting for riders looking for both powder performance and freestyle handling.
The connection areas between the front and rear sections are also quite wide. This may help increase surface area for powder flotation while giving the rear section of the front board more effective edge for carving.
The nose height is approximately 70mm, with a fairly aggressive rocker profile.
For such a short board, it looks capable of generating good flotation even at relatively low speeds in deep snow.

Very Short Rear Tail
One of the most noticeable details is how short the rear tail is.
Because of this shape, using a shorter frame mounting position may be important to get the full flex and response from the board.
For this prototype display, we mounted the TORINITY 2 on our TOOLATE T3 frame.
Simply leaning the Snowscoot over already shows how much edge engagement the wide front board can generate.
Board thickness is approximately 8mm, giving it a manageable feel while still allowing the rear tail to flex progressively.
The base also features what appears to be a white hawk graphic.
TORINITY will continue testing and developing this board, and if everything goes well, we may see the first production lot sometime during the 2027 season.
It is still very much a developing product — and that is exactly what makes it interesting.

TORINITY 2: short, fat, freestyle-friendly, and built with powder in mind.
We’ll keep testing, watching the development, and sharing updates from Japan.
