When TooLate Sports first opened , it started as a tiny one-tsubo (about 3 m²) prefab shop.
Since then, it has grown together with the Snowscoot scene
and today, TooLate Sports has become a full building facility that centers around BMX, Snowscoot, and NJS bicycles, while also including a local bike shop, indoor skate park, and guesthouse serving the Toyama community.
If you come to Japan, we’ll gladly guide you through your Snowscoot life.
This is the Snowscoot Connection.
ABOUT SNOWSCOOT&TOOLATE SPORTS
🏂 What is SNOWSCOOT?
SNOWSCOOT is a unique winter sport that combines elements of snowboarding and BMX. Invented in the 1990s by French BMX rider Frank Petoud, it features a frame similar to a bicycle mounted on two snowboard-like boards.
Riders use handlebars for steering and foot straps for control, allowing for dynamic turns and tricks on snowy terrains. It's accessible to beginners and offers a fresh experience for seasoned winter sports enthusiasts.

Anyone who can ride a bicycle can try a Snowscoot
even if you live in a tropical country or just wear sneakers.
It’s surprisingly deep and endlessly fascinating once you start.
The moment you ride a Snowscoot down the slopes, you become the main character on the mountain.
If you’re looking for a unique winter sport that will fire up your passion,
this is the one.

“The Curious Case of Snowscoot”
A winter sport like no other
They say
If you can ride a bicycle, you're good to go.
No bindings? No worries.
A handlebar? That’s your confidence.
Looks heavy, but it’s not.
Looks dangerous, but it’s not.
Looks fun?
You're absolutely right.
No brakes, yet somehow you stop.
YOYO! What about customizing it like a bike, yo?
Tell your friends,
"I might try snowscoot."
And watch their jaws drop.
Groomed runs? Backcountry?
Both are out of the ordinary.
Slackcountry or alpine?
Still the same
pure escape.
360s, barspins, handrails,
Knee-down carving, elbow-deep powder —
It's all up to you.
In a snowstorm that slaps your face,
In a European airport layover,
You meet another rider —
Snowscoot Rider A
And from that moment, you're bound by runs, not words.
That ski resort, once booming with bubble-era glory,
Now abandoned, rugged…
The fog lifts, and suddenly —
Blue sky.
From Mt. Tsurugigozen,
You see springtime Mt. Oyama, still untouched by crowds.
And below?
The endless stretch of Tsurugisawa.
From age 6 to 60 and beyond,
This machine will carry you far.
Always on the SNOWSCOOT.
