JYKK X-1 Wooden or G2? Three Board Sets, Two Shapes and Different Flexes
Share
We have checked three JYKK front-and-rear board sets at TOOLATE: a new X-1 Wooden Medium, a G2 Hard display set, and a new G2 Medium / G-FLEX set. There is one set of each available at the time of this update.
The main choice is not simply Medium versus Hard. The narrower X-1 and wider G2 have different shapes and riding priorities. Here is a practical comparison, with the condition and current price of each set kept separate.
X-1 Wooden Medium: the narrower freestyle option
The X-1 follows Nicolas Pillin’s freestyle board concept. Its relatively narrow outline is designed for detailed control in park riding, boardercross and active all-round riding. The Wooden graphic combines a wood-look background with fine black lines and bold geometric shapes.
- Condition: new front-and-rear set
- Flex: Medium
- Size: front 570 × 283 mm; rear 1,070 × 256 mm
- Construction: wood core, ABS sidewall sandwich and ISO Speed 7500 base

G2 Hard: an unridden display set
The G2 is Takashi Gaman’s wider all-round design. This particular set is the Hard-flex version, for riders considering a firmer setup for their freeriding, park riding or faster turns.
It is display stock and has never been ridden. The listing notes slight edge dulling and base marks or dirt from display. It is not a used-on-snow set, and it should not be confused with our separate used or lightly used board listings.
- Condition: unridden display stock
- Flex: Hard
- Size: front 580 × 310 mm; rear 1,090 × 290 mm
- Construction: wood core, ABS sidewall sandwich and ISO Speed 7500 base
- Price: USD 750

G2 Medium / G-FLEX: the new wide all-round set
This new G2 set shares the wide outline but has the Medium / G-FLEX specification. The existing JYKK listing describes G-FLEX as balancing characteristics of Medium and Hard. It is a useful comparison point if you want the G2 shape without choosing the separate Hard-flex display set.
- Condition: new front-and-rear set
- Flex: Medium / G-FLEX
- Size: front 580 × 310 mm; rear 1,090 × 290 mm
- Construction: wood core, ABS sidewall sandwich and ISO Speed 7500 base
- Price: USD 795

Which direction fits your riding?
Start with the X-1 if a narrower freestyle-oriented shape is your priority. Compare the two G2 sets if you are looking for a wider platform for mixed terrain and freeriding. Then choose the flex to suit your weight, riding style and how you load the boards. A harder flex does not by itself mean greater breaking strength.
All three listings include cleaning and waxing before dispatch. Before ordering, please contact us with your frame model and the terrain you want to ride so we can check mounting compatibility and discuss the options.
Stock is shared with our Japanese shop and managed manually across both stores. Prices and stock above were checked on October 18, 2026; the linked product pages show the current details.
