Longer Front Board = Maximum Stability

The overall size feels close to an X-1, but the longer front board improves stability and helps in unexpected fresh snow.

Hybrid Camber Rear Board with 40mm Flat Zones

The rear board uses a hybrid camber profile.
By creating 40mm flat contact zones, the AK-1 improves:

• Quick board-slash control

• Precise micro-adjustments

• Better handling for technical freestyle riding

And importantly: this is not a “pro-only” board.

Design Story

Kota’s concept started from simple rider logic:

“If the board was wider, it would feel more stable.”
“If we reduce swing weight, tailwhips should rotate faster.”

The AK-1 was born from his years of pushing freestyle in parks and big air.
The graphic also carries a strong story: inspired by the dynamic style of the legendary X-1, created by Nicolas Pillin, a rider Kota admires. AK-1 brings that energy—built to chase even higher performance.
